Why not me?

I've been nagging (gently, I hope) my youngest nephew to begin a blog as a way to showcase his writing, both style and content. I suggested he write on his observations of life as a college student as well as life in general.

Today I got to thinking - why not me? Why couldn't I write about my observations (minus the college student part)? And the answer - no reason I could come up with. Thus, this blog.

I have a couple of other blogs, both travel related:

• On the other side of the world - My 2010 trip to Singapore and surrounding areas
• Singapore Part II - What it says (My 2012 trip)

So, as I have observations, thoughts, ideas, ruminations, etc. I will try to document them here.
